DPF warning light on ?
Unable to perform a passive regen ?
Vehicle in limp mode ?

Your diesel car or vans Diesel Particulate Filter (or DPF) performs the seemingly simple task of trapping soot particles produced during combustion, in order to reduce harmful particulate emissions, and then when operating conditions are correct, incinerate the soot in a process known as regeneration which reduces the soot to ash. This process is performed hundreds of times, over the lifespan of your vehicle.
There are a number of reasons why your DPF can fail to regenerate. From driving conditions/style to faulty sensors or failed/blocked components which are required for the DPF to regenerate.
Correct diagnosis is essential to allow the correct course of action to be taken and to prevent the DPF from blocking again.

Our visit

On arrival at your home or work, our technician will carry out physical and diagnostic checks to establish why your DPF has stopped regenerating and has become blocked. We will then report our findings to you and advise on the best course of action.

If required, DPF cleaning involves injecting a cleaning solution directly into the particulate filter via the pressure sensor pipe.
DPF cleaning normally takes a couple of hours.
